Celebrate dance this Christmas!

DONATE TODAY

The Christmas Campaign is raising funds to help The Place continue in our mission to build a world with more dance, by creating beautiful works for kids and even getting them dancing themselves! Your contribution helps us engage more kids in the wonderful world of dance, where they can watch, participate, and create their own stories through movement.

We all know that dance is a magical spark of creativity. It’s a fantastic way for kids to connect with each other and themselves. Imagine them finding their groove, discovering a sense of play, and igniting a lifelong passion for the arts—all while having a blast.

Dance isn’t just fun; it’s a hero for wellbeing, boosting confidence, helping kids learn the art of teamwork, and teaching them the power of collaboration.

By supporting The Place’s Christmas Campaign, you will enable us to continue sharing our diverse range of projects and opportunities, including:

  • Bringing dance to local Camden primary schools through our Partner Schools Programme, ensuring children get access to fantastic dance education from a young age.
  • Taking dance all over the country thanks to the Rural Touring Dance Initiative, and the Playground Tour enabling children who may usually be overlooked to witness the joy of dance
  • Commissioning and programming wonderful contemporary dance shows uniquely designed for children as one of the very few contemporary dance theatres able to do so. This has included The Little Prince, The Mountain Witch, Screensaver Series, and will include upcoming shows Prancer the Dancer and Early Weaves.

Imagine a world where every child can twirl, leap, and express themselves through dance! By supporting our Pioneering Fund through the Christmas Campaign, you’re not just donating; you’re giving the gift of movement, creativity, and pure joy.

Let’s make this Christmas a celebration of dance! How about gifting a little magic today?
