How we work with schools
The Place has a long history of working with schools to develop their dance provision and supporting teachers to embrace a creative curriculum. Our sessions are inclusive, imaginative and challenge the perception of what dance is and who it is for. We have a range of activities for learners of all ages to develop their skills and confidence in dance and work with teachers to design projects to meet their specific needs. We also run outreach activity with target schools around the country to encourage under-represented groups to consider further education in dance through our national school's programme.
Our children are so lucky to have these experiences by such highly trained, talented and creative dancers.
