About Screendance Summer School

The Screendance Summer School is an opportunity for anyone aged 16+ to delve into the world of dance film.

Alongside daily morning dance classes, you will be introduced to new technical skills to build confidence working with the camera, develop ways to consider choreography through a filmic lens and find new ways to express your artistic ideas through this interdisciplinary art form. This summer school will grow your understanding of screendance through practical exercises and give you insights into historical and current works, programming, and distribution to audiences.
