On a 30°C day with no air conditioning but a big fan operated by dancers and choreographers ArtsCross 2026 gathers for the first time for the dancer selection run by Waddah Sinada (Fubunation) and Léa Tirabasso.

Waddah’s class has the space grooving. As the session develops, you might catch dancers grooving to the tunes on the side, choreographers nodding along, researchers tapping their feet.

Léa quickly unlocks the laughter. As the dancers pass movement to each other through the circle, dancers start to loose whatever shyness they might be holding onto. Excitement starts to bubble, rise up the chest as the dancers start to embody. Zero stakes. Voice emerges. And when the voice is lost, you feel the void in the space.
