Performing Artist and Mentor

Vanessa is a Royal Ballet School associate, Rambert School of Ballet and Contemporary Dance BA (Hons) and London Contemporary Dance School alumnus. Following Vanessa’s Postgraduate diploma, she went onto tour internationally with Phoenix Dance Theatre performing works by Richard Alston, Christopher Bruce, Ivgi & Greben, Didy Veldman and Itzik Galili amongst many others. More recently she joined Akram Khan Company for the creation and world tour of his reimagining of 'The Jungle Book', in addition to performing works by Ryan Chappell, Miguel Altunaga and Mthuthuzeli November as a freelance artist. In August 2018, Vanessa was Dancing Times, Dancer of the Month and later that year nominated at the National Dance Awards. Vanessa was also an external examiner and mentor for the Northern School of Contemporary Dance, and currently on the Board of Trustees for ThickSkin Theatre and National Youth Ballet.
