Circus Performer, Dancer
Tamzen is a professional circus performer and dancer. Starting as a gymnast and competing at International level, Tamzen gained a BA Hons degree at London Contemporary Dance School before moving into circus. Tamzen aims to bring multiple skills together whilst choreographing to make work that crosses boundaries between circus/acrobatics and dance.
As a performer Tamzen has worked for many corporate events around the world, as well as companies including Cirque Eloize, Batman Live World Arena Tour, Will Tuckett, Visuals for Muse, Mini Cooper, both English National Opera and Royal Opera House, and the National Theatre. Tamzen has been involved in TV and film for Sherlock Holmes Game of Shadows, Desperate Romantics. Tamzen also holds a Guinness World Record for aerial silks.
Tamzen was also an assistant director on Illuminations directed by Struan Leslie, Acrobatic consultant to Lynn Page on ‘So You Think You Can Dance’, and acrobatic consultant for The Jungle at the Playhouse Theatre, associate circus consultant on Our Lady of Kibeho at the Royal & Derngate Theatre.
