Lewis Cooke is a freelance artist based in the UK.
He found his passion for dance while working with National Youth Dance Company (NYDC). During his 2 years with NYDC he worked with Jasmin Vardimon and Akram Khan. Both productions premiered at Sadlers Wells and toured nationally in the UK. Lewis studied at London Contemporary Dance School working with artists such as Hannes Langolf and Baptiste Bourgougnon. Independently during Lewis's training years he joined Alleyne Dance Internship Programme to begin the creation for his solo "A Time When All Lights Must Be Hidden" a performance which premiered at Resolution 2018 festival along with a national tour which included venues like Lillian Baylis Studio, Sadlers Wells. Lewis was also an understudy for Jasmin Vardimon's "Pinocchio".

He has performed in the works; "The Borrowers" by OJO Collective, Street Improvisations with Beautiful Creatures & Paco Rabanne, The opening of the V&A Museum Dundee and Tribe// company performing “No Sudden Moves” at Resolution 2019.

More recently Lewis performed the world premier of "Ludum" in Brussels by Anton Lachky Company which has gone on to tour in Netherlands, Germany, Slovakia and Belgium. After this production he toured the piece, "Icarus" an outdoor production touring throughout summer 2019 with Southpaw dance company. Reaching to audiences in Germany, Slovenia, Cornwall, London and Netherlands.
