Kelly Mclnnes is a settler of Irish, Scottish and British ancestry based on the traditional, ancestral and unceded territories of the xʷməθkwəy̓əm (Musqueam), sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish), and səlilwətaɬ (Tsleil-Waututh) Nations, colonially known as Vancouver, Canada. Kelly works as a dance artist, choreographer, performer, facilitator, and craniosacral practitioner. She dances as a way to connect to the lands, beings and cycles of body and Earth where she lives. Her project Late Stage Remedy, a collective dance meditation taking place in public parks, invites participants to slow down, attune to their environment, offering love and presence to the lands they live and dance on together.

In the MA, Kelly is inspired to grow their practice of leading collaborative creative processes with community, focused on creating space for the collective feeling, grieving and being present with the ecological crises, while learning and reconnecting with ancestral knowledges of how to live in respectful, responsible relation with Earth.
