Julia Keren Turbahn is a Berlin-based choreographer, dancer, and a founding member of baff—a collective of Deaf* and hearing artists creating innovative, inclusive dance performances for audiences of all ages. In her work, Julia approaches complex themes with creativity, imagination, and humor, inviting audiences to engage thoughtfully with her work, to explore the world in their own way and discover new perspectives. She is interested in learning more about inclusive theatre practices and fostering knowledge on how to create safer, accessible, and empowering spaces.
