Performer and Choreographer

Emma’s career spans over both the contemporary and commercials fields. After graduating from London Contemporary Dance School she toured internationally with Jasmin Vardimon Company and Hofesh Shechter Company. Freelancing in the past with Michael Keegan-Dolan, Shahar Binyamini, Avant Garde, Dane Hurst and Mthuthuzeli November.

Commercially she has featured in adverts for Magnum, Hyundai x Pixel, Garnier, Smirnoff, Vodafone, M&S, AKT, SKYN, Johnnie Walker, Sexy Fish, and Fiorrucci x Adidas. She has performed at events for Cartier and SWATCH, in film for HBO series “A Brave New World”, BBC series “Life in Squares”, BBC proms dance film “Beethoveniena”, and Disneys live action remake of “Aladdin” and “Captain Marvel 2”. She has performed in music videos for Coldplay, MK, DJ Tiesto, RAYE, Jax Jones, Autoheart, Jamie Cullum, Callum Scott, George Ezra, Hikaru, and Underworld and performed at The Brit Awards for Dua Lipa x Calvin Harris and the Fashion awards for Kylie Minogue.

She is now exploring her own choreographic voice, having created for Jamie Cullum, Freya Ridings, Shaun Farrugia and Hikaru Utada, Concerto Copenhagen, as well as brands such as M&S, Adidas and Marimekko and worked as an assistant choreographer on Season 2 of Sandman. She is about to start co-choreographing on DOPE GIRLS, a new BBC series, whilst continuing to freelance and chair the Young Persons Board at Sadlers Wells.

She likes to work in a way which invites looking deeper, physically and emotionally, and searching with more freedom within the body. She aims to expand the capacity to work with sensation to create authentic decisions creatively.
