Dancer, Voice Actor, Motion Capture performer

Bridget Lappin is a dancer, voice actor & mocap/pcap performer currently based in London, UK.

Originally from the east coast of Canada, Bridget trained at London Contemporary Dance School, graduating with both a First-class BA (Hons) and MA degrees. She has danced with Richard Alston Dance Company, Bern Ballett (under the direction of Cathy Marston), Peut-Être Theatre, Glyndebourne Opera Festival, English National Opera, and several independent choreographers in both Canada and the UK. She has also presented her solo, choreographic work in several international platforms including Resolution (UK), Kinetic Studio (CA) and Tanz Made in Bern (CH).

Bridget's voiceover experience spans audio dramas, corporate, educational videos, and more. She recently provided ADR for the short film "Interior Night" and is the narrator for the audiobook "After Everything You Did". Her live performance experience acting in children's theatre and opera lends itself well to animation and video games, while her background as a dancer is a major asset in the volume for performance and motion capture.

Outside of performance, Bridget is the Assistant Director and Head Trainer of Towards Vivencia, an education company dedicated to training peak performance presence. She is the co-author of Designing Presence: Entering Towards Vivencia (published by Routledge), the official guide to the Towards Vivencia methodology.

Bridget has taught for London Contemporary Dance School, TripSpace ProDance programme, Glyndebourne Opera Festival, Towards Vivencia Academy, Chisenhale Dance Space and Kinetic Studio. She also taught for Ross Creek Centre for Arts "Dance Summer Dance" programme, as a member of the contemporary dance faculty from 2016-2020.
