Belle was taught by her mother, who attended the Royal Ballet Upper School and danced with both the Royal Ballet Company and Rambert, and also by her Father, who was a ballet dancer in touring companies and the West End. Both Belle’s parents later became Royal Academy of Dancing 9RAD) teachers and gained Associate of the Royal Academy of Dance (ARAD) status.

Belle continued her training as a Royal Ballet Junior Associate and went onto full time training at Bush Davies Ballet School and London Studio Centre, under the instruction of Alfreda Thorogood, Donald McLennan and Barry McGrath.

Belle was selected to join Quinny Sacks’ contemporary dance Company Extreme Measures, performing at The Place for Spring Loaded and touring the UK. She also performed leading roles in the UK Tour and West End productions of Andrew Lloyd Webbers Cats.

Belle spent a number of years working successfully in the music industry, providing lead vocals for shows such as; Strictly Come Dancing and The Voice and backing vocals for artists Celine Dionand Robbie Williams. But Belle came back to her first love, ballet, when she had children. She teaches ballet at RAD, D&B Performing Arts College, The Place and is a guest teacher at Lewisham College.

Having trained early on as a Royal Ballet Junior Associate, Belle returns to the school to take courses, watch class and remain up to date with the Royal Ballet School system of teaching. She brings this effective system, alongside her own heavily researched ideas and her vast experience to the students she instructs.
