AMARNAH UFUOMA CLEOPATRA

Amarnah Ufuoma Cleopatra is a London-born Nigerian interdisciplinary artist. Her practice navigates between the realms of contemporary dance, acting, singing, and spoken word. As a versatile performer, teacher and choreographer, Amarnah has honed her craft through prestigious UK institutions such as Laban CAT, The BRIT School, LCDS undergraduate, and NSCD Verve. Since graduating in 2015, she has worked across Dance and Theatre forms on stages, for TV, short films, Music videos and gallery spaces world wide. Collaborators and appearances include Anton Lachky, Renaud Wiser, Barrowland Ballet, 2nd Hand Dance, Made by Katie Green, Moxie Brawl, Clod Ensemble, Pell Ensemble, Breach Theatre Company, Somerset House, Tate Britain, Live on Jools Holland, Glastonbury Festival, Marriott Hotels, Sainsbury’s and The Guardian. Alongside her work as a captivating performer, Amarnah is an enthusiastic teacher and facilitator for professionals, young people and adults. She lecturers at LCDS teaching Flying Low, Passing Through, Voice and Improvisation; regularly teaches at Independent Dance, Trip Space, and various Summer Schools and music festivals. Amarnah is now Unit 1 Lead of the MA Dance: Performance at LCDS.
Most recently, Amarnah collaborated with Stefania Pinato to create Womb Party, an original dance theatre work commissioned by The Place and supported by Arts Council England. Centered on themes of reproductive justice and abortion, the piece premiered at The Place in April 2025 and is set to tour the UK in 2026.
Grounded in a love for self-expression, her art prioritises heartfelt connections, community, and care while exploring physicality and presence.
