National Dance Centres for Advanced Training (CATs) shortlisted for One Dance UK Changemaker Award

We are thrilled that the National Dance Centres for Advanced Training (CATs) have been shortlisted for the One Dance UK Changemaker Award. The One Dance UK Awards celebrate, acknowledge and reward the people who have made an impact on the vibrant UK dance landscape this year.

The National Dance CATs is the only scheme of its kind, delivering pre-vocational dance training to 10-18 year olds in ten regional centres across England including The Place. The scheme provides means-tested bursaries funded through the Department for Education, to ensure every young person with potential has access to world-leading training, alongside mainstream education.

We are also excited for our Head of Programming & Producing Christina Elliot has been shortlisted for the Dance Sector Spotlight Award.
