A Week in the Summer

3 August to 6 September 2026

A few places are still available for these 1-week long programmes (Monday to Sunday) for independent performance makers - dance, music, theatre, circus, performance art, spoken word, this year with an added offer to writers or digital/ visual artists.

Each artist / company / collective will have 7 days of personal studio time, short work-in-progress meetings, and a Sunday evening sharing with the other 1 or 2 artists / companies working the same week.

The residency includes:
Choice between studio space (25 or 36 hours) or Skyroom space: a small solo writing / visual practice space (30 hours)
2x artists meetings with other summer residency artists
2x 1hr mentoring sessions with Caroline Salem
End-of-week studio or online presentation for an invited audience
Option of live-in accommodation (max 3 people)
