Job Description
The Landmark Arts Centre in Teddington, South West London, is seeking an experienced and inspiring Musical Director to lead Landmark Singers, our established auditioned community choir.
This freelance role involves leading weekly Wednesday evening rehearsals during term time, developing singers’ musical and vocal skills, and preparing the choir for performances throughout the year. The choir performs a varied repertoire spanning classical, folk, jazz, gospel, pop and world music.
This position would suit a confident choral leader with experience of directing semi-professional community choirs, strong musicianship, and a passion for helping singers develop and thrive. The successful candidate will be collaborative, enthusiastic and full of ideas, with the ability to balance musical ambition with an enjoyable and supportive rehearsal experience.
The role is offered on a freelance basis through an annual rolling agreement.
