IJAD Dance Company: OOTFest27 Artist Commission

IJAD Dance Company has an exciting paid artist opportunity to be part of IJAD's next live-hybrid festival, taking place in May 2027.

What happens to live performance when "being there" no longer means being in the same place? That question sits at the heart of OOTFest27: Where We Are.

We'd like to explore it with you.

We're commissioning six new 15-25 minute live-hybrid works in which XR, MR or AI is part of the artistic enquiry - not simply an addition to it.

Six different answers.


The works will be presented in May 2027, in person at a London venue and online through Open Online Theatre, as part of OOTFest27.

Bursary: £1,650 per company/performance + 60% of festival ONLINE ticket sales and 70% of watch-on-demand sales for three months
