Job Description

Award-winning choreographer Lisa Simpson is looking for two experienced and creative dance artists to join her new work, Being Human.

Being Human is a deeply personal exploration of Lisa's lived experience as a non-verbal artist with quadriplegic cerebral palsy. The work explores ideas of safety, connection and what it means to be human.

We are particularly interested in hearing from artists who identify as disabled, neurodivergent and/or who have personal experience of navigating barriers. However, we welcome applications from anyone who feels a strong connection to the themes of the work.

Being Human is an Unlimited UK Open Award 2026 commission made possible thanks to funding from Arts Council England.
