Step to the beat of creativity, enquiry, and innovation at FIELDS - a celebration of postgraduate student work from London Contemporary Dance School.

The three day festival presents an exhibition of cutting-edge choreography, live and mediated performance, screenings, installations, workshops, participatory and discursive events, conceived and presented by our postgraduate community. With events happening across The Place theatre and the inspiring design engine that is Studio Wayne McGregor at Here East, FIELDS offers encounters with transdisciplinary and experimental art, testing bold choreographic ideas and proposing new ways of engaging with dance.

Working at the forefront of research-led practice, supported by expert faculty and the wider producing expertise of The Place, students from four MA courses think through a wide range of contemporary topics, seeking to inspire, provoke, and investigate what it means to make and share dance today as a way of imagining alternative futures.
