About Young Creatives Performance

Packed with creativity, originality and stunning new choreography, witness the next generation of dance makers. Young choreographers from across the UK premiere their stunning performances, after receiving mentoring from acclaimed professional choreographers, as part of One Dance UK’s Young Creatives programme.

About Young Creatives

Young Creatives is a national programme run by One Dance UK* for aspiring young choreographers aged 16 – 20 (or older if they have a disability or long-term health condition) who want to learn from industry professionals and develop their creative ideas and potential in any style of dance.

A fully funded initiative, Young Creatives is designed to support and nurture young choreographers, helping them to create vibrant and original dance work for a live audience.

The programme includes choreographic workshops led by industry professionals, who guide them through different approaches to creating work, whilst supporting them to find their creative style. The next round of applications for Young Creatives 2027 opens in the summer 2026.
