A double-bill where dance, live music and striking visual design collide.
In VESSEL, three dancers move within sculptural constellations of LED light that pulse, black out, and reappear in shifting formations, hinting at the tension between human survival instincts in an AI-driven future.
In the Absence is a metaphor for grief, transition, and renewal. A vast mirrored floor of fragmented confetti becomes the stage for two dancers navigating memory and loss, each movement unsettling thousands of reflective pieces.
With composer Sean Pett mixing sound live in dialogue with the dancers, the evening becomes a cross-art encounter — movement, music, and light reshaping each other in real time.

About PCK Dance
PCK Dance is a contemporary dance company founded by choreographers and performers James Pett and Travis Clausen-Knight, both former dancers with Company Wayne McGregor.
Recognised by the Critics’ Circle as one of the UK’s leading independent companies, PCK has toured internationally across Europe, Asia and the Americas, with commissions for major companies including Ballet de Santiago (Chile), Ballet de Monterrey (Mexico) and Croatian National Ballet (Zagreb).
The company is known for its visceral movement language and cross-art productions that unite dance with live music, sculptural LED light design, and striking visual landscapes. Their work ranges from intimate duets to large-scale international commissions, always rooted in bold physicality and emotional resonance.
In 2026, PCK begins a Company in Residence at Eden Court Theatre, Inverness, embedding its practice in Scotland while touring globally. PCK’s repertoire includes the five-star work IMAGO, the double-bill INTO THE LIGHT, and collaborations with artists such as Paris Opera Ballet’s Étoile Marie-Agnès Gillot. Press acclaim describes their work as “electrifying” (British Theatre Guide) and “a transformative event that redefined the possibilities of ballet” (The Parliamentary Society).
