About Serena Thomas & Brice and Giada

A young white woman with long blond hair wearing a silver bodice, wrapped in rope, smiles menacingly at the camera while biting a piece of rope. The image has a red hue with a black background.

Felicity

Inspired by the choreographer’s experiences working as a model for the past three years, Felicity delves into ideas of complicity and power within the fashion industry, using the semi-autobiographical character of the same name as a vessel for this exploration. Felicity begins to question her place as a model and the consequences of her work, as everything she once knew begins to unravel itself before her.

About Serena Thomas

Having graduated for London Contemporary Dance School in July, Serena Thomas has spent the last 3 years combining both dance and modelling to create works that explore the overarching theme of innocence/loss of innocence told through controversial aspects of the female experience. Her pieces use a fusion of Contemporary, Ballet and Hip-hop practices to create movement that centers around a feeling of restriction. She also combines her knowledge of fashion to create her own costumes and sets that have a maximalist and inviting quality to them.

H(om)e coming

This performance delves into the essence of folklore, particularly from southern Italy, not as a mere revival, but as an exploration of its deeper meaning. It’s not simply a tribute to tradition, but a visceral journey where music and movement become conduits for transcendence. As the body enters a state of ecstatic, meditative flow, it resonates with a raw, primal force—lifting the veil of separation and uniting us with our truest selves, revealing the interconnectedness that binds us all.
