Juliet & Romeo reveals the real story of Romeo and Juliet. It turns out they didn’t die in a tragic misunderstanding; they grew up and lived happily ever after. Well they lived at least. With Lost Dog’s blend of dance, theatre and comedy this duet takes on our cultural obsession with youth and our inevitable issues with longevity.

This show is touring as part of the Rural Touring Dance Initiative, a national project which supports dance artists and rural promoters to make great dance performance events happen in rural spaces. This version of Aunusthan has been adapted specifically for rural touring.

About Lost Dog

Lost Dog is an award-winning dance/theatre company based in rural East Sussex and led by director/choreographer Ben Duke. They aim to create and tour excellent shows widely and well - with consideration for the planet, care for our staff and performers and generosity towards our audiences. They treasure and celebrate the temporary community that is created when people share time, space and air in a theatre - whether that theatre is a village hall or a major metropolitan opera house. Their shows offer audiences an evening of genuine, laugh out loud entertainment while quietly (sometimes loudly) breaking their hearts.
