Our celebrated annual event, Collaborations — now renamed The Peter Farley Collaborations Project in memory of the theatre designer's remarkable contribution to London Contemporary Dance School (LCDS) and The Place — has been a highlight of our performance calendar for more than two decades giving students from Wimbledon College of Arts, Guildhall School of Music & Drama and LCDS, unique opportunities to co-create.

Design Collaborations signifies the convergence of creative synergies between student choreographers from LCDS and student designers from the BA Theatre Design course at Wimbledon College of Arts, UAL. Each year, the result is a diverse collection of pieces, ranging from large-scale constructions to inventive use of the theatre space itself, all indicative of the daring and imaginative cross-pollination of ideas.

Music Collaborations brings student choreographers from LCDS and student composers from the Guildhall School of Music & Drama together resulting in a riveting combination of live ensembles, electronic scores, and a dynamic mix of creative ideas.

All of the work is performed by LCDS students.

Join us in person at The Place for these transformative performances that challenge and broaden the traditional roles of dancers, musicians, and designers, and experience the vibrant future of contemporary dance in action.
