About Ballet Improvers with Julian Lewis
Classes run Monday 17 to Friday 21 August 2026
Explore the art of ballet in a fun, accessible way.
This intensive will guide you through the basics of Ballet with an energising and warm approach. Julian Lewis will help you build confidence with barre exercises, simple arrangements, and moving through space using travelling steps.
Whether you are looking for a new form of exercise or aiming to progress your technical and artistic skills, this intensive will help you build experience and understanding, whilst enjoying the beautiful live music.

- Enrol for the week for £75 to save and guarantee your place or limited drop-ins for £17 per class

- Please arrive on time - unfortunately we are unable to accommodate participants who are more than 15 minutes late as the warm-up is an important part of the class.

About Julian Lewis
Julian graduated from Trinity Laban in 2013 and has since toured with EDGE Dance Company, Bowie Live and Ffin Dance. He has also performed for a wide range of productions and events, in film & TV, and has choreographed and produced his own work as co-director of Traceworks Dance. In 2019, Julian completed his master’s degree at London Contemporary Dance School, specialising in rehearsal direction. A passionate teacher, he regularly tutors recreational and pre-vocational groups at The Place, Trinity Laban and DanceEast, as well as undergraduate students at BIRD Conservatoire.
