Ballet Improvers with Julian Nichols
Autumn 2026
About Ballet Improvers with Julian Nichols
Autumn Term Classes start on Wednesday 16 September and run until Wednesday 9 December 2026 (excluding Wednesday 28 October due to half term).
Develop strength, alignment, and artistry through ballet.
Designed for dancers with some previous experience, this class will help you refine your technique while building confidence, coordination, and musicality in a supportive environment.
Julian Nichols will guide you through barre and centre work with a focus on structural alignment and body awareness, helping you deepen your understanding of posture, turnout and classical ballet vocabulary. Drawing on both traditional and contemporary movement principles, the class encourages precision, expression, and freedom in movement.
From travelling sequences across the floor to jumps and petit allegro, you'll continue to expand your skills and movement vocabulary, accompanied by beautiful live piano music. You will leave feeling stronger, more confident and ready to progress to the next stage of your ballet practice.
