Lauren trained at The Place and was a member of London Contemporary Dance Theatre from 1980 – 1988. Following this she became a founding member of Siobhan Davies Dance with whom she danced for a further eleven years. She has also performed and taught with a diverse range of companies and choreographers both nationally and internationally, including DV8 Physical Theatre, Second Stride, Yolande Snaith, Jonathan Lunn and Rosemary Butcher. She continues her performance practice as an independent dance artist, working and collaborating on a range of projects and processes. She is currently working with choreographer Eva Recacha, on a solo entitled 'Because I Can' - visiting notions of power, memory and growing older.
