Irad has over 20 years of experience in teaching and choreography. He joined the Centre for Advanced Training in 2019, where he contributes to the development of young dancers. Alongside his teaching role, Irad has worked as a guest lecturer at the Royal Central School of Speech & Drama, guiding design students to incorporate holistic practices such as astrology and mindfulness into their creative work.

Trained at Middlesex University and Millennium Dance, Irad’s career includes time with the National Youth Dance Company, under the direction of Sir John Chezworth and worked with; Wayne Mcgregor, Cathy Marston, Andile Sotiya, Mark Baldwin and Matthew Hawkins as well as creating two works for the company as a choreographer. He has also danced with Michael Clark and Matthew Bourne’s New Adventures, performing in iconic productions such as Swan Lake and The Nutcracker, touring internationally.

Irad modelled for Alexander McQueen for Paris Fashion Week Spring collection 2004 and continued to work with McQueen on various photoshoots. He appeared as guest artist for the BBC One show Strictly Dance Fever with the Sugababes and for the BBC’s record-breaking Big Dance Mass, filmed and broadcasted live from Trafalgar Square.

Irad’s career extends beyond dance, with experience in safeguarding and risk management, having worked with Hackney Council and in Specialist Crime with the Metropolitan Police. He is also a qualified Reiki practitioner and Sound Healer offering workshops in Yoga studios across London, has a passion for promoting mental and emotional wellbeing. He has also delivered Child Safeguarding workshops for Rambert Grades.
