With a clear artistic vision that explores empowerment, trust, instinct and vulnerability, Holly Blakey’s critically acclaimed choreography and movement direction traverses the worlds of contemporary dance, art, music and fashion. Creating through an eruption of constantly shifting, diverse visual languages, Holly works with a broad range of artists with recent examples including Rosalia (2022), Jeremy Deller (2022), and Celeste (2021).

Across films, campaigns and live shows, she has worked with fashion houses including Burberry, OFF WHITE, Gucci, Dior and Vivienne Westwood. With the latter, she has maintained a longstanding relationship, including collaborations on two of Holly’s ground-breaking live works Cowpuncher (2018) and Cowpuncher My Ass (2020), both performed at the Southbank Centre’s Royal Festival Hall with original compositions by Mica Levi. Beyond these monumental partnerships, Holly continues to hone her practice in self-led projects, recently premiering Triptych – a multi-channel film commissioned by CHEERIO of the Francis Bacon Estate.
