CC Milbrandt is an educator whose work is currently based between Kigali, Rwanda, and New York, New York. She has been developing a movement curriculum rooted in creative dance practices embedded with elements of social-emotional learning. She aims to research and broaden the space for movement exploration within educational contexts, specifically in grade school. She looks forward to learning amongst a cohort of artists who are passionate advocates of dance in their respective communities.
Engaging with the course has me reflecting that movement is a universal language for cultural exchange that amplifies individual expression.
