Salary: £23,200 per annum (£1,950 per month before tax and other deductions)

Job Description

This role will be primarily to support Hannah Sampson – a Senior Dance Artist with Stopgap who has Down’s syndrome. Hannah’s role includes rehearsing and performing in Stopgap’s productions; planning and teaching workshops; taking part in discussions; attending meetings and writing blogs and articles.

This short-term contract is primarily to support Hannah during the creation process of Lived Fiction, Stopgap’s new indoor touring work. The role would suit those interested in issues surrounding social inclusion of Disabled people, and/or gaining professional experience in inclusive performing arts, contemporary dance, technical theatre, or arts management. However, it is important that the candidates can demonstrate being a calm, supportive, rational, caring, patient, generous and nurturing individual.
