Job Description

Open Contemporary Class every Sunday from October 1st to December 10th with Viv Bridson, Place Alumnus.

Viv was first invited to contribute to London Contemporary Dance School as a teacher in 1975 and became Assistant to Jane Dudley, Head of Graham Studies in 1979. in !988 she went to Germany, first working as Rehearsal Director for Reinhild Hoffmann in Schauspielhaus Bochum. Two years later she concentrated on her work at the Folkwanghochschule, Tanz Fach Bereich 3, (now Folkwang Uni), where she stayed until 2002. She returned to London and has since then been working in Theatre and film, teaching a weekly class at The Place on Sundays.

Viv is now 86, she has experience of many of the 20th Century Dance Pioneers starting with Laban, Her class is based on this knowledge. The class is for those in professional training or dance/theatre/performance art backgrounds.
