Job Description

Bailamos juntos on Hoxton Hall's historic London stage! Border Crossings' The Mouth of the Gods uses opera, drama, dance and traditional ritual to tell the story of Latin America's Indigenous communities. We are seeking dedicated dancers of Latinx backgrounds.

Key Info:

  • Workshops led by Jessica Luong, co-founder of Balia Peru, and choreographer Maria da Luz Ghoumrassi.
  • Weekly eve workshops from Sept
  • Performances at Hoxton Hall from 27 Nov to 1 Dec 2024.
  • Must be 16+ with dance experience and enjoy working collaboratively.

This is an opportunity to:

  • Use your own heritage to develop your dance practice.
  • Learn from experienced dance heritage leaders including traditional steps/choreography and how to interpret heritage to apply to contemporary contexts

INITIAL WORKSHOPS ON 13 APRIL, 11 MAY AND 8 JUNE FROM 10:30-4:30 (attend one or all three).
