The Web We Spun by Penelope Klamert
The Web We Spun explores the invisible structures that shape our lives, from social expectations and cultural norms to the frameworks we create for ourselves. Blending popping with physical theatre, the performers weave, thread and pull against one another, creating an ever-changing web of connection, restriction and support. As the performers move through the web, the work explores the tension between safety and entanglement, freedom and responsibility, and our desire to escape the structures that shape us.

SOFT GUT GOSPEL by Kat Korsimaa
SOFT GUT GOSPEL explores the tension of feeling “not queer enough, not straight enough” as a pansexual individual moving between queer and heterosexual spaces.
Drawing on bisexuality as an umbrella term that includes pansexuality, the work confronts biphobia, erasure and the pressure to prove one’s queerness. The performance examines the performativity of sexuality and how identity is felt in the body.
Hair becomes both an intimate part of the body and a visible marker of queerness, whilst also serving as the tool used to paint directly onto the performance surface. Movement, hair and paint create traces of resistance, uncertainty and self-definition, questioning who gets to decide what queerness looks like.
About Kat Korsimaa
Kat Korsimaa is an interdisciplinary performance artist working at the intersection of movement and visual art. Her practice is influenced by contemporary dance, somatic and improvisational practices, and experimental visual art. She is interested in the body as both a source of knowledge and a site where personal, social and cultural expectations are negotiated. Her practice is rooted in embodied research and scored improvisation, using paint and mark-making as extensions of movement and ways of translating physical experience into material form. Rather than seeking fixed definitions, her work explores how an embodied sense of self can become a source of conviction without needing external permission.

Is This Bliss by Tiegan Doyle
Is This Bliss explores the tension between awareness and apathy. Within this modern realm of politics, it asks what happens when protecting your peace means looking away? Inspired by the idiom ‘ignorance is bliss’, the dancers navigate a society where disengagement feels easier than facing what is happening around them.
Blending contemporary dance with the raw physicality of krump, the work moves between restraint, rupture and collective intensity. As awareness spreads, so does the question of responsibility: when the world feels overwhelming, how much can we choose not to see?
Is This Bliss does not offer answers or ask for outrage. Instead, it asks what we see, what we ignore, and what it costs to remain unaware. What are you choosing to ignore?
About Tiegan Doyle
Tiegan Doyle is a London-based choreographer and dancer creating work at the intersection of contemporary dance and hip hop. Her practice explores power, identity and the ways social and political forces are embodied through movement. A graduate of Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts, she combines physical intensity with questions surrounding collective experience. Her choreography has been presented at Sadler’s Wells and developed through platforms including Open Art Surgery and Common Threads. As a queer artist, Tiegan is interested in creating work that makes space for complexity, contradiction and lived experience, inviting audiences to question what shapes the way we move through the world.
