Born from folklore, Piskie is a playful, multifaceted character who is growing tired of performing. Confused and frustrated, they are searching for answers.

The Weight of the Grass by Esther Cheong
At a crossroads, we weigh our options, imagine the possibilities, and hope to make the right choice. But what happens when we hold the power to influence someone else’s fate?
The Weight of the Grass is a contemporary hip hop theatre work exploring fate, free will and the uncertainty of decision-making. Following a character through a series of choices, the work examines the temptation of what lies beyond and the paths we might have taken.
Blending dance, text and audience interaction, audiences step into the role of a higher power, shaping the character’s journey while questioning how much control we truly have over our own destiny.

But We Did Everything Right
"The house is on fire."
"... Not ours."
But We Did Everything Right is an ensemble-devised dance theatre piece examining our proximity to crisis and the ways in which we respond to it. The flatmates gather to watch the news. Faced with yet another catalogue of crises, they turn instead to the question of what to have for dinner.
Drawing inspiration from the dramatic precision of Kidd Pivot, the visceral physicality of Hofesh Shechter and the humanity of Gecko, the piece transforms the everyday into the extraordinary.
Through the tension between the personal and the political, it seeks to reclaim attention from the forces that commodify it, reimagining it as a space for creative expression and collective encounter.
Produced in collaboration with Kill Your Darlings.
