Ponders End, Enfield Bus Garage by Berwyn Cooper
How long have we been on this bus? It feels like forever.
Ponders End, Enfield Bus Garage drags us into the mind of a passenger, journeying alongside a quiet protagonist through an off-kilter, hazy reality. Windows creak, relentless tannoys bleat, and the hum of everyday life blends seamlessly with a meditative yet tense original score.
Enter an ever-evolving space, seemingly held together by the threads of one man’s mind, as the set transforms into an endless stretch of seats disappearing into the void. Streetlights flash by, cutting through the darkness and briefly illuminating a cast of seemingly unremarkable commuters.

all the right moves by The Alternate Collective
The Alternate Collective invites you to make 'all the right moves'.
This is NOT a social experiment. It’s a Bharatanatyam-inspired game.
Three women navigate shifting rules, unexpected obstacles and impossible choices in this game. Perhaps being a woman today isn’t so far from being inside a video game: constantly having to anticipate new demands and adapting to changing stakes. And, of course, doing it all with resilience and grace.
Are you ready to play?
About the Alternate Collective
The Alternate Collective is made up of Devaki Rajendran, Kavya Iyer and Sneha Semaleesan. Originally from India, they are three independent London-based dance artists interested in interrogating and expanding the possibilities of Bharatanatyam through process-led, experimental approaches. They arrive there in unique ways: Kavya through an anthropological lens, tracing how culture and identity are held in the body; Devaki, a RADA-trained theatre maker, through the meeting point of movement and text; and Sneha through an intuitive yet research-led approach that sits alongside classical rigour. Rooted in curiosity and (playful) collaboration, their work reflects contemporary lived experiences.
