About Contemporary Intermediate with Laura Gibson

This intensive will run from Monday 11 - Friday 15 August 2025.

Develop your technical precision and increase your range of strength and stamina.

Perfect for anyone with at least 3 years of dance experience and who is looking to gain a new insight into contemporary dance.

This class blends release-based techniques with a focus on developing technical precision, strength, and stamina. Through energetic and rhythmically varied dance phrases, you'll work on movement efficiency, exploring fall, suspension, quick shifts in weight and direction. The class will push your physicality with intricate movements and encourage connections between movement, feeling and quality. The live music by Andres Pascua will help inspire your dancing throughout the class.
