Summer Term Classes start on Mon 28 April and run until Mon 21 July (excluding Mon 5 May & Mon 26 May due to Bank Holidays and half term)

Explore the art of Ballet in a fun, accessible way.
If you have ever wanted to try out Ballet but weren’t sure where to start, this course will help guide you through the basics with a fun and warm approach.
Our experienced Ballet teacher, Julian will help you build your confidence with barre exercises, simple arrangements, and moving throughout the space using travelling steps.
Whether you are looking for a new form of exercise or aiming to progress to a beginner’s class – this will help you build coordination, core muscle strength and flexibility. The beautiful live music by pianist Anna Gillespie will add to the experience, as you learn about its relation to dance.

- Enrol on this course for £160.00 or try out a taster with the option to enrol on the full course afterwards (concessions available).

- Please arrive on time - unfortunately we are unable to accommodate participants who are more than 15 minutes late as the warm-up is an important part of the class.

about your teacher
Julian graduated from Trinity Laban in 2013 and has since performed across the UK & Europe with EDGE Dance Company, Bowie Live and Ffin Dance, as well as for Marvel Studios, Pinot! The Musical, Cascade Dance Theatre, the London 2012 Olympics, BBC Proms, The Old Vic Tunnels and more. As the co-director of Traceworks Dance, Julian has also performed, choreographed and produced his own professional projects, and in 2019, he completed his master's degree, specialising in the role of rehearsal director. As a tutor, Julian regularly works in recreational and pre-vocational settings at The Place, Trinity Laban and DanceEast.
