About Contemporary Intermediate for Over 60s with Ellyn Hebron
Classes start on Sat 21st Sep 2024 and run until Sat 7th December 2024 (excluding Sat 2nd Nov due to half term)
Curve, tilt, twist, and arch: Discover new ways of moving from the spine in this welcoming class incorporating Cunningham, Release and Floorwork exercises.
The classes include elements of release technique, which helps to create flowing movements that focus on breath and are easy to follow. Ellyn will lead you in building strength, technique, coordination and articulation, adjusting movement exercises where appropriate for different skill levels. This class is accompanied by guitarist and songwriter Sara De Santis.

- Enrol for the term for £120.00 to save and guarantee your place or drop-in for £12.00 per class,

- Please arrive on time - unfortunately, we cannot accommodate participants over 15 minutes late, as the warm-up is an important part of the class.

- Over the summer months we’ve been working to upgrade our toilets, changing rooms and the café space. While much of the refurbishment is now complete, some ongoing works may affect the facilities available to you to use during the first few weeks of term. about your teacher
Ellyn has over 10 years experience performing and teaching dance, since graduating from London Contemporary Dance School, where she completed her BA and MA. Prior to the pandemic, Ellyn danced in numerous operas, performing regularly at The Royal Opera House and Glyndebourne, as well as touring internationally. More recently she has been involved in productions designed for family audiences, performing in theatres across the UK and as part of outdoor festivals.
