Kate trained at the Royal Ballet School and London Contemporary Dance School before joining Rambert. During her time there she worked with many different choreographers including Richard Alston, Christopher Bruce, Siobhan Davies and Glen Tetley. Following this she worked as a freelance dancer with Michael Clarke, Lloyd Newson and Mark Baldwin among others. She has taught extensively in this country and abroad both professional companies and in schools including Richard Alston Dance Co, Rambert, Michael Clark Co, DV8, New Adventures, Charleroi Danse, Reset 2020 for Studio Wayne McGregor, Paris Conservatoire, Middlesex University, London Studio Centre and Rambert School. Before joining the faculty at Rambert School Kate was rehearsal director for Richard Alston Dance Company.
