Choreographer, Performer, Director

Jennifer is an award-winning choreographer, performer and director working internationally across mass movement, commercial, theatre and socially engaged projects.

Born and raised in the Yukon, and now over 20 years living in the UK, she has been getting people together to dance since she was five years old.

Jennifer’s Mass Movement direction includes Kadamati for Akram Khan Company, featuring over 1000 dancers across Edinburgh at the Edinburgh International Festival and Paris Hotel de Ville, Complicité’s Everything That Rise Must Dance, and Made in Hull, for the launch of Hull UK City of Culture 2017 with MakeAmplify.

Commercial work includes choreography on feature film Hero, and on music video promos for Olly Murs feat. Rizzle Kicks, and Wave Machines; winner of the 2011 UK MVA for Best Choreography.

Theatre credits include Due to Unforeseen Circumstances with ironINC, Make Me Happy with Generation Arts at the Yard Theatre, and Othello for Birmingham Opera.

Jennifer is founder and director of ironINC in Africa; an arts for cultural exchange programme working with local partners across Africa and the Middle East to co-create and deliver arts programs for professional and social development; supported by British Council.

She is Co-Artistic Director of the award-winning arts and technology collective MakeAmplify, who create large-scale spectacle using projection mapping, Augmented Reality and dance in urban spaces. They are QuestLab Artists with Studio Wayne McGregor and were recipients of the 2020 Superfused Award from ARTSDRIVA and were part of the 5G TAP program with Digital Catapult.

Jennifer is touring solo dance work Dancestory commissioned by Dance Umbrella, and Yukon Ho! her one-woman comedy dance-theatre work.
