Jennie Simpson
Jennie has worked in universities for a long time and experienced working with a wide range of challenges and experiences from relationships, racism, cultural diversity, sexuality, trauma, anxiety, depression, attachment, stress, motivation, self-esteem, gender dysphoria, self-harm, suicide ideation, shame and abuse, however any topic, feelings or thoughts are welcome.
We all naturally have different counselling needs, so Jennie approaches the sessions at your own pace and works with you to find the best way to support you.
She works a lot with people who are on the spectrum of dyslexia, ASD, and ADHD both diagnosed and undiagnosed, and recognise the impact this can have on student life.
Jennie work affirmatively with people of all genders, sexualities, and relationship diversity (GSRD). This includes those who identify as trans, queer, gender fluid, non-monogamous and the LGBTQ+ community.
