Dance Practice
Hilary trained at LCDS between 1995–1999. From 2001–2006 she was a member of
Wayne McGregor | Random Dance, touring nationally and internationally as well
as delivering an extensive education programme. She has also worked with
choreographers including Martin Lawrance, Maresa von Stockert, Tom Dale,
Matthias Sperling, Yael Flexer and, more recently, Joe Moran. In 2007 she was a
dancer for the Jerwood Bank Project with Siobhan Davies. Hilary has taught and
made work in a variety of different schools and community settings across the
UK. She led Shift Youth Dance Company at The Place from 2007-2019 and became a
faculty member at LCDS in 2009. In 2021 She completed a Postgraduate Diploma in
Arts Teaching and Learning at NSCD. She continues to enjoy working with interesting
students from a range of different backgrounds to explore their creative
potential.
