Gladys Agulhas is an multi award-winning dance artist who pioneered inclusive dance practice in South Africa. Gladys returns to studying with over three decades of professional experience in Johannesburg and internationally to share with the PCA community. As she embarks on this newly found expedition of embedded learning, she finds herself gently embracing the collaborative strands of lived experiences and theory complimenting each other through peer participatory and community practices. Relationships with platforms like the ADDN network (SA), AHRC-International Network for Disability Inclusive Development Project (UK) and Early Career Research (ECR) have emerged, creating opportunities to engage in exchange of teaching methodology, my own practice and research possibilities.

Gladys is an inaugural recipient of the Global South Scholarship.

"The best and most beautiful things in the world cannot be seen or even touched – they must be felt with the heart.” -Hellen Keller

I am excited to be fed by this exchange with a diverse community of artists. This course is tailor made for the diverse participants we are. It meets our individual needs and is throughout challenging, thought provoking and stimulating.
