In this research project co-created and developed a workshop model that integrated the experiences and realities of LGBTQIA+ people's parents in Poland. Through this process, we deepened participants' experiences of allyship—together, through dance. Across a series of encounters, the group created movement scores as forms of embodied allyship—an active, evolving practice. The exercises draw from and incorporate the parents' local experiences, translating them into physical vocabulary. The group met to connect, move, and reflect, allowing both community and dance practice to emerge and grow in unexpected ways.

We co-created a collective warm-up to help the group land in their bodies and arrive in a state of allyship-readiness. The participants are organisers of the local Pride march in Koszalin. This embodied preparation supported them in feeling more grounded and equipped to carry out their work throughout the day. The project is supported by a partnership with the local NGO Fala Równości.
