Eve Dent

Eve Dent is an artist based in the UK, whose practice over 20 years has spanned the fields of performance, live art, image-making, and movement. Her work explores the intersections between one thing and another and shared bodily spaces: within architecture, with objects, through motherhood, connections with other absent or present bodies and the meeting place or threshold between them. She seeks to express a poetic interweaving and inter-relationship between sense of self, body, and environment. Her focus now is turning to the natural environment, landscape, and place; exploring movement in relation to the land in which she lives, local community/participation, the current of care that supports them all and the processes of embodiment in relation to nature, through an ecologically and politically engaged lens.
