Andrea Carmona Hernandez
Andrea Carmona Hernandez lives and works in Cholula, Puebla in Mexico. She is a trained dance teacher and has worked for over a decade with inclusive dance, building a network of classes and projects which bring together disabled and non-disabled dancers in intergenerational groups. She creates performances for alternative spaces and specific publics. She has participated in several publications about art as an educational tool. She is the founder of Ballet Incluyente; a dance company dedicated to inclusive cultural projects.
Through the last year I have danced with around 200 people in different settings from preschools, residence homes for older people; sharing with local artists and professionals the knowledge and experience built with all the teachers and students on the course. It feels like we share our dance with the world
