Yorkshire Dance - No Dress Code | Scratch Night in the North | 22 November 2024

No Dress Code scratch night taking place on 22 Nov and open to dance artists, working in Yorkshire, who are no longer in full-time education or training.

No Dress Code run by Yorkshire Dance offers a supportive environment to gain audience feedback.

Yorkshire Dance are seeking:

- Works-in-progress. i.e. New work which has undertaken at least two weeks of research and development.

- Performance, film or installation work created for a live audience.

- Work suitable to programme in a studio or performance space.

- Short pieces (5-15 minutes duration), with little or no previous audience exposure. Or an excerpt from a longer work still in development.

- Work with minimal technical requirements due to quick turnarounds between performances.

- Minimal props/set/equipment.

Each selected dance artist receives a fee of £125 and studio space during the week of No Dress Code (if required and available).
