Job Description

Join Taiwanese dance company Shimmering Productions and their Artistic Director WANG Yeu-Kwn for a workshop exploring intimacy and tension, trust and resistance, give and take. These themes are all inspiration for his choreography.

This workshop will lead the participants to explore movements that affect weight-shifting and balance between dancers. The participants will be able to try some motifs from WANG Yeu-Kwn’s new dancework, Islands.
Islands is the second Episode of WANG Yeu-Kwn’s “A Trilogy — Quest of Relationships” choreography project; inspired by his 2019 trip to Indonesia in search of a giant fish: in the search for self-identity.
