Job Description

A new opportunity for Deaf, Disabled and neurodivergent mid-career arts professionals.

Stopgap wants to give aspiring Disabled leaders of tomorrow an opening to work with a broad spectrum of people; time to listen to differing perspectives and space to experiment in a safe and nurturing environment.

The programme will offer paid positions with the equivalent of one year’s work with the company. The successful applicants will be immersed in the company’s activities through the support of an experienced and inclusive mentor. We will be employing up to three Future Leaders in two cohorts (January 2024 and January 2025).

The Future Leaders Programme consists of roles within the following areas of interest:

Choreography

Producing and Project Management

General Management

Training and Advocacy

Hours: These will be flexible, part-time roles with the work pattern mutually agreed with each individual, but applicants must be able to commit to 22.5 hours a week minimum.
